2015-2017 F150: Backup Camera Diagnosis & Repair
This video demonstrates diagnosing and troubleshooting the backup camera circuit on a 2016 Ford F150. The circuit consists of a 12v battery supply voltage, a ground, and positive and negative video feeds (similar to RCA video feeds).
The backup camera itself is relatively expensive, so checking the circuit is an important first step prior to replacement. If a new camera is required, it will need factory programming in order to display guidelines and predictive paths.
