2022 TE300i: Pipe Removal, Repair, Install

Time: 30-45 min

Difficulty: easy

Cost: $125-200 (tools)

PIPE REPAIR

A replacement pipe for a Husqvarna, KTM, or GasGas 2-stroke can be expensive, ranging from $250-600. If you're looking to restore looks and performance, consider buying a dent repair kit first. At half the price of a cheap pipe, the reusable kit can pay itself off quickly.

HOW IT WORKS

The idea is pretty simple. Remove the pipe, cap the ends, fill it with air, and apply heat. It's a satisfying process and simple to do.

Watch the video below to see a 2-stroke pipe repair on a 2022 Husqvarna TE300i. The process is the same for any 2-stroke pipe. This particular kit fits 250-300cc KTM, Husqvarna, and GasGas bikes.
